From Colossians 2:10 Elder Gowens began Bethany’s annual spring meeting by highlighting how completely Christ meets our needs for a life of service and devotion to Him. He completed the work of salvation, the revelation of scripture, and the the church. By His grace he supplies our needs as we face the challenges of the day. In Him we are sufficient.
We previously shared the sermon preached by Brother Will Martin on the morning of his ordination. Now we have made available a condensed form of the entire ordination service, both morning and afternoon services.
The Lord blessed us with His presence during the ordination of Elder Will Martin on Saturday, February 9, 2008. During morning services, Brother Martin preached from the gospel of Matthew, chapters 15 and 16. He pointed out the distinguishing characteristics of the New Testament church established by Jesus Christ in Matthew 16:18.

From Bethany’s 2007 Annual Fall Meeting: ElderSonnyPyles, Friday 10/26 (Download)
Elder Pyles opens by warning briefly of the dangers of “moralistic, therapeutic Deism” arising lately in America. His main subject is the need for believers in God to do what they can even as they pray for His aid. This message is an antidote to fatalism and a beautiful study of providence in practice.
Due to the length of the message, inline playback is not available. Please download to listen.
