Sermons from Bethany’s fall, 2009 annual meeting are now available. They are all identified with the fall 2009 tag.
Annual Fall Meeting Oct 23-25
We at Bethany Church warmly invite our friends and neighbors to join us at our annual fall meeting. This year we have invited several ministers serving Atlanta area churches, and we look forward to seeing many in their congregations visit us for a good time of worship and fellowship. We are also pleased that Elder Steven Bloyd of Bel Air, Maryland has agreed to be with us for the entirety of the meeting.
The meeting will be held October 23-25 at Friendship Christian School. The school is at 3160 Old Atlanta Road in Suwanee, behind New Life Church. Our special thanks to the good folks at New Life Church, who have been very welcoming and accommodating during our time between permanent buildings. The first service will be Friday, October 23 at 7:00; we will not be serving dinner that evening. On Saturday we will have morning services at 10:30, lunch at noon, afternoon services at 2:00, dinner at 6:00, and communion service at 7:30. The meeting will conclude on Sunday with morning services at 10:30 followed by lunch.

Next Sunday our regular services are moving to Friendship Christian School in south Forsyth
Today we held the last meeting at our rented facility at Lakefield Drive in Johns Creek. Beginning Sunday, October 4, we will meet each Sunday morning at Friendship Christian School (map it). The school is on the campus of New Life Church, located just a couple of miles north of our future building site.

Our services on Sunday, August 16, will not be held in the Johns Creek interim facility. We will be meeting instead at Friendship Christian School for morning and afternoon services, with lunch served. Please join us starting at 10:30 at:

Friendship Christian School is on the campus of New Life Church, located just a couple of miles north of our future building site. We are evaluating the school as an alternate facility for use during construction. We will return to our facility at 11330 Lakefield Drive for services on Sunday, August 23.
Church Picnic Sat 7/25 at New Property
Come visit our new property at 5101 Old Atlanta Road, Suwanee. We will gather at 3:00 Saturday and enjoy an afternoon of games and fellowship. There will be dinner on the grounds and singing in the evening.
Sun April 5: First Meeting in Johns Creek
We have moved out of our sanctuary in Tucker. This Sunday we will hold our first meeting in downtown Johns Creek. We have sold the Tucker sanctuary and expect to purchase land and begin construction of a new building in the Johns Creek area within the next 6 months. Visit our web site for directions.
Final Sunday services in Tucker sanctuary 3/29
Sunday 3/29 will be our last Sunday in the Tucker sanctuary. Morning services begin at 10:30, afternoon services at 2:00. Lunch will not be served.
Our afternoon services will be given to testimonies by the members of how good God has been to us over the last 30 years at our church building in Tucker.
Annual Spring Meeting starts Friday night, 3/20
Our Final Meeting in Tucker
Our spring meeting begins Friday night, March 20. It will be a very special and bittersweet occasion for all of us, as the sale of our building in Tucker will be finalized on the morning our meeting is to begin. This will be the last annual meeting in our Tucker sanctuary.

Elder Coy Thomas will preach for us on Sunday morning 1/25. Our pastor, Elder Gus Harter, is visiting churches and ministers in the Philippines.
Sun 1/25: Afternoon Services at Shiloh
Bethany Church will not hold regular services at 2:00 PM on Sunday 1/25. Instead, the church voted to meet with Shiloh Church in Loganville, where Elder Lasserre Bradley, Jr. of Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church will be filling a special appointment.
