Deuteronomy 32 records a song that Elder Gus Harter describes as the national anthem of Israel in that day. This beautiful passage is a tribute to God’s protective care of Israel despite her unfaithfulness. It is filled with metaphors and foreshadows the coming Christ. Elder Harter draws out many of these treasures, with emphasis on the image of the rock that recurs throughout the passage.
